Using Images of Children

Consent form for use with publications by the Aldershot & Farnborough Twins and Triplets Club. Please complete and return to the Club Membership Secretary.

At many Club events and activities, photographs will be taken of Club members and their children. These photographs may be used in various Club publications, notably the Newsletter, in the local press, and on the Club website.

We fully understand that some parents may object to their children being identified in public in this way, and accordingly we would ask you to confirm your stance on this issue, as far as it specifically concerns your own children.

If possible permission will be sought beforehand, but in many situations this is simply not practical. We therefore propose to retain your consent on file, and edit the use of the photos according to your wishes.

However, where a parent has decided that images of their children should not be used, we would ask that those parents take special care to remove their children from any group photograph before the picture has been taken.

If at any time your preference on this issue changes, please confirm this to the Club Membership Secretary in writing. Should you become aware of any image published that contravenes your wishes at any time, please contact the editor of the relevant publication (Newsletter, Press or Website) who will remedy the situation as soon as possible.

Images will be used for a variety of purposes but the children will not be named, nor any personal information disclosed.

In addition, please note the following:

  1. This form will remain in force as long as you and your family are members of the Club, The opinions expressed on the form can be amended at any time, but only by the family concerned.
  2. We will not use any personal details (age, any indication of contact details, etc) to accompany images used in the Press or on the Website. Where appropriate, such details may be given in the Club Newsletter.
  3. We will only use images of children who are suitably dressed for publication.
